The concrete factory buildings of Inter-Beton in Ghent offer a unique industrial heritage exploration. On the other hand, the regeneration of the post-industrial docks requires much subtlety in the study of its identity and future potentials.

The Betoncentrale project offers not to expand further than the existing concrete floor footprint. It creates an active cultural platform on the ground floor meanwhile allowing public access to the roof terrace. This kind of spatial configuration enhances dynamic interaction with the existing buildings, extends the public space and creates viewpoints for a wider perspective of the surrounding.
