The Red Box project is an artist-in-residence project at L’Escaut bringing together the artistic interests of Jan van Schaik and Olivia Lennon, combined with found and curated material created through an international cultural collaboration.
They will be embedding works from their local and global community of peers into the sets costumes, and scripts towards an experimental performance in L’Escaut project space.
Their project will transport us from the everyday life into a lucid dream world, and then back again – like a contemporary hybrid of Sisyphus’s stone and Cocteau's mirror.
