"Le désir de créer l’hôtel de passe de mes rêves.
Un lieu comme barrage.
Un espace comme une main dont les doigts tendus tenteraient de retenir l’humidité de la Joie.
Un lieu à la hauteur de nos empourprements.
Oui, un lieu qui exige notre intégrité la plus Totale.
Ce projet est le corps qui cristallise et déploie mes recherches sur les lieux sexuels, les séparations et intromissions entre le privé et l’intime, comment on passe de l’un à l’autre, comment on traverse l’espace du dehors lorqu’on pointe une situation intime..."

 

"Comment contaminer le réel depuis les intensités qui nous peuplent, nous transpercent. Si on habite le monde comme on déploie sa propre chair, l’architecture devrait avoir la même souveraineté qu’un corps vécu et à vivre. Comment penser un building dont la verticalité soit gorgée par ce qui l’anime en faisant face à ce qui l’abîme par les mêmes forces qui retiennent un corps ou une âme.

Je veux tenter, au sein de L’escaut, de donner un corps tactile à ces recherches en mettant sur pied du bout des doigts une conférence organisée par les marges, c’est-à-dire par des questions qui cassent les idées, les dissèquent et ouvrent à de nouveaux actes incorruptibles, irréconciliables.

Cette conférence nommée «Hôtel Minotaure» fera exister pour la première fois publiquement mes recherches :

POUR UNE ARCHITECTURE DE L’INCONSOLABLE.

Ce travail que je mène est un essai, fort d’éléments disparates et moléculaires (films, recherches pornographiques, textes manifestes, études de terrains) afin de m’aider à ce que, de ce chaos, sorte et danse une étoile, un poème."

A life project: Hotel Minotaure

A space like a hand whose outstretched fingers would try to retain the humidity of Joy.
A place that is equal to our empurplements.
Yes, a place that demands our utmost integrity.
This project is the body that crystallises and deploys my research on sexual places, the separations and intromissions between the private and the intimate, how we pass from one to the other, how we cross the space of the outside when we point out an intimate situation..."

 

 

 

"How to contaminate reality from the intensities that populate us, that pierce us. If we inhabit the world as we unfold our own flesh, architecture should have the same sovereignty as a body lived and to be lived. How can we think of a building whose verticality is filled with that which animates it, while facing that which damages it with the same forces that hold back a body or a soul?
I want to try, within L'escaut, to give a tactile body to these researches by setting up with my fingertips a conference organized by the margins, that is to say by questions which break the ideas, dissect them and open to new incorruptible, irreconcilable acts.
This conference called "Hotel Minotaure" will make my research exist for the first time in public:

FOR AN ARCHITECTURE OF THE INCONSOLABLE.

This work that I am carrying out is an attempt, based on disparate and molecular elements (films, pornographic research, manifesto texts, field studies) in order to help me so that, from this chaos, a star, a poem, comes out and dances."
