La recherche de Virginie porte sur le dialogue que l’architecture, la lumière et le corps peuvent entretenir. Investissant le plus haut plateau de l'Escaut, ce temps de travail sera consacré à l’observation et à la création d’un jeu entre le déplacement de la lumière dans l’espace et la place du corps dans celui-ci. Dans un agencement de sculptures photosensibles dont l’ombre et la lumière infusent dans la matière, ce travail est une tentative de porter la lumière à une forme tangible.
Il est un déploiement de sculptures de lumière mouvantes circulant dans l’espace, jouant des infinies variations d’angle des rayons du soleil, dans une invitation à observer le lieu dans lequel nous sommes.

Virginia's onderzoek richt zich op de dialoog die architectuur, licht en het lichaam kunnen onderhouden. Het hoogste plateau van de Schelde wordt geïnvesteerd in deze werktijd, die gewijd is aan observatie en het creëren van een spel tussen de beweging van het licht in de ruimte en de plaats van het lichaam in de ruimte. In een arrangement van fotogevoelige sculpturen waarvan schaduw en licht in het materiaal doordringen, is dit werk een poging om het licht tot een tastbare vorm te brengen.
Het is een tentoonstelling van bewegende lichtsculpturen die in de ruimte circuleren, spelend met oneindige variaties in de hoek van de zonnestralen, in een uitnodiging om de plaats waar we ons bevinden te observeren.

Virginie's research focuses on the dialogue that architecture, light and the body can nurture. Investing the top floor of L'escaut, this working period will be devoted to observation and the creation of a game between the movement of light in space and the place of the body within it. In an arrangement of photosensitive sculptures whose shadow and light infuse into the material, this work is an attempt to bring light to a tangible form.
It is a display of moving light sculptures circulating in space, playing with the infinite variations of angles of the sunrays, in an invitation to observe the place in which we are.
